New Sensory Garden

Planting a sensory garden for the people we support to enjoy, as well as building a patio, buying furniture and setting up irrigation.

Energy Efficiency Improvements

Including solar panels on the roof of the Moors, energy efficient top loading washing machines, insulation of the roof and cavities.

Resurface Driveways

The driveway of each care home will be resurfaced with easy to walk on pea-shingle surface to further improve accessibilty.

Garden Office / Multi-Use Space

A garden office/multi-use space will be built at Blakesley and The Moors to maximise enjoyment of the outdoors and good weather.

These projects are very close to our hearts and any support or assistance that we receive would be immensely beneficial in helping us bring these projects to fruition and thereby enhancing the lives of the people we support.

We would like to give our heartfelt thanks to the amazing people that participated in two separate team fund-raising events - a 10km run (the Thames Path Challenge), and an 80 mile cycle ride (Bath to Reading), both tremendous achievements. The Sensory Room Project at William Blake House (The Moors) was chosen as the beneficiary of all funds raised by the challenges that they undertook; we would like to congratulate them on their incredible achievements and thank them and their supporters for their kindness and generosity.
